Storage and cooking. Nearly all sherds are smoke blackened and/or heavily sooted indicating use as cooking pots.
General distribution
Main area of distribution is within a 30 mile radius of the Malvern Hills, although vessels have been found as far afield as Shrewsbury and Cardiff.
Medieval (13th century)

Notes
These are by far the most commonly found form of this fabric type. The diameters of these cooking pots are generally between 260mm and 280mm.
