Fabric 82.3 - South Netherlands tin glazed ware


Fine iron free fabric with common quartz inclusions of <0.25mm.
Buff coloured throughout.

Bruges/Antwerp, BELGIUM
No kiln site has been identified, but this fabric was probably produced in the area of Bruges and Antwerp. The most commonly traded form was a two handled vase which has been found on over 100 sites in Britain, including, in this county, Worcester and Kidderminster.
Medieval to Post Medieval (Late 15th to late 16th century)
Two handled vases date from around 1500 - 1575 AD.
