Fabric 139 - Grog, Quartz and Limestone tempered ware


This is a soft fabric with a soapy texture, and inclusions include grog or clay pellets (<8.0mm), limestone (c.25mm) and fine quartz (0.1-0.25mm). Although the range of inclusions is very similar to fabric 5.7, this sherd is very different in feel and finish.
Buff external surface with light grey interior surface and dark grey core.
