Decoration
Overall external mid to dark green glaze with occasional glaze splashes within the vessel. A small group of sherds have applied strip decoration in red firing clay very similar to Bristol Redcliffe ware (Barton 1963)
Ham Green, AVON
Vessels of this type were produced in Ham Green on the outskirts of modern Bristol. They were distributed in quantity around Bristol, the south Wales coast, south-east Ireland, the Wye valley and the Severn Valley. A number of examples have been found in Worcester although their distribution within Worcestershire is still unclear.
